It looked like a good thing to me. Of course I was reading about it via Bernie Sanders, who I think is the greatest. If they can break Gilead's patent for vets then that might lead to breaking it for everyone. I seriously doubt it could happen but at least it creates some noise around the issue of denying treatment. As usual, politics...

I`ve seen a couple of articles about that recently. Worrying, isnt`t it?
Fierce Pharma has an article for the Vets. to be concerned. Looks like the VA. cant afford Tx for it's vets. Out of money. A Vermont Senator wants to have Gilead's patent broken and have generic forms made available under some wartime act (?). It seems like the cost is eating up everyone's budget. If you have anyone Vet. or non Vet. get them on treatment now. Cali. is upping their co-pays to the hundreds mark , due to strains in Medicare budgets. Looks like again you have to have a level of chirosis to qualify. Yikes! Hoping funding will arrive soon!
