You must be so thankful to have your lovely dog Gretl with you, how wonderful! Dogs are such loyal and intuitive companions.
Sorry you`re not feeling too good, it`s still early days for you yet so give yourself time to recover and take all the rest you need. The main thing is that you`ve completed your treatment and you`re still undetected, and I`m very pleased for you!
Better days are ahead!
Ps - I`ve moved this thread to the `Post Treatment ` section for you.

Congratulations on finishing treatment (EOT) with that welcome undetected result! Now on to the coveted SVR.
Things will begin to improve with time. It doesn't take long for the drugs to clear your system, so you should notice some changes soon. Take it one day at a time. Keep your eye on the ultimate prize and celebrate each of these victories with joy!! Good luck...

My dog Gretl worried about me the second week into my treatment. She noticed I would nap during the day. Something very unusual. I experienced that deep sleep. Almost like sleep paralysis. I dozed off heavily on the couch and I couldn't move or wake up, but I waa fully aware. She paced around me nervously. She then put her nose to mine to check my breathing. I couldn't wake up, but since I was breathing, she let out a big sigh and layed right next to me. Tonight, I feel awful and there she lays. She's next to me instead of laying in her usual spot. She's taking care of mama. Man, I love my dog.

Well, I fished my 8 weeks. My last lab was totally undetected VL. I was feeling ok. Today, I feel like I got beat in the head with a shovel. I didn't have any severe side effects my entire treatment, but they did appear mildly. I'm not a coffee drinker, but that's what got me through the fatigue. I'm so happy it wasn't like what I feared it would be. I hope the aching doesn't long.
