Ok this must be a sign! The last three people to respond all started with G!!!
Ok so it's not a sign but it felt cool saying it was until I realized I sound like a nut. LOL
The RiboVirin arrived today. Next step is the clear to proceed from my assigned treatment Coordinator. She is pretty cool and I have to give her credit putting up with my nervous emails. It took awhile to get Insurance in line and in that they pay $28k a month for the Vik alone tells me I should learn to be more patient.
Next step is solid day 1 start date.

Hi Jimmy, great attitude and outlook. You'll be started and finished with tx before you know it. Time flies and soon you'll be rid of this nasty virus. Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Jimmy,
It is quite a journey we are all on, and only those who have walked in our shoes can possibly understand the emotions we experience. This forum has helped me through the depression of failed treatment, and felt the joy of new hope with these new treatments and the successful outcome it has given to so many of us.
We are a very lucky bunch to have survived to see the beginning of the end of hep c and the damage it causes to so many people and their families.
Cheers to us (with a non alcoholic beverage of course)... :)

Glad you are here Jimmy. I get the rambles here too. Try to contain myself. Its straight to the heart to find others experiencing and enduring and persevering and finding life again during and after hep c . My face was in the dirt. Your past is in your review, and you are looking at the future, but your present is sitting right in that seat with hands on that wheel and feeling the connection of real. You have a great ride in the seat of this train which moves faster than I ever imagined toward the world of Health restored....

Greetings,
My career has taken me to many different countries. Fond memories are held for some while others led to a "there's no place like home" moments.
Now I find myself here with you,... traveling a very important highway. Lot's of curves ahead I can see and depending how traveled the road can perhaps seem long at times. Aww but the road that has brought me to this point is best held in the rear view mirror.
The first of three 28 day supplies of Viekira Pack was handed to me today by The Fed-X dude. I used to just look forward to them showing up around Christmas but somehow this July Present just has a different feel to it. Same lil van, dude in shorts with a nice hat and a smile but almost a surreal delivery scene.
Came in one of those igloo type box's to keep things cool. Looking at the box my first thought was; "OMG I have to swallow everything in THIS box within 28 days before I get another box this size to do again?" Open it was a bit less intimidating. (Nice box though, can keep stuff cool on a road trip.)
The Ribovirin is still in transit and it looks like the plan to start next Monday is shaping up.
I know I am just rambling and have no idea why as it is not my way.
Hep C took my best friend in life. I miss him riding next to me.
Hep C took my brother in law. I had to fly out to Colorado to be with my Mother In Law as her son was in ICU on support. She did not have the strength to allow the Doctors to end support and let him go. I had to do it all the time looking at him there and knowing the same monster was inside of me.
Hep C will NOT take me.
This thread will be my walk with y'all. I will laugh with you and cry with you on the way and after my Dragon is slain, I will stay and help others.
Having read a lot of posts here all I can say is it is an honor to be Traveling with y'all.
