I really do understand your frustration with the fatigue and it's natural to be impatient to pick up your energy and get on with your life now your treatment is over, but you really do need try and be patient, it's still early days for you yet.
Be thankful that you only had do a short course of treatment and that you're already on your way to recovery and SVR!

I know this is a super stupid question but, I took a sample of it yesterday. I'm sure I'll be okay right? I won't risk it by taking any supplements until my 12 wk SVR. It is the fatigue that gets me. I have a really good day, then a not so good day, but this week there good days were far more than the bad ones.. I know it's a process and I just need to be patient. Thanks for the advice- Steven:)ğğ»ğğ»ğ

Hi Steven, I've used Co-enzyme Q10 supplements a lot over a period of many years and found it to be very effective as a short term boost for energy levels, mental and physical.
However, I do agree that it's wise to delay all supplements until after your 12 week post tx results, as your doctor advised.
Congrats on finishing your Harvoni, by the way!
Best of luck!

Thanks guys. The doctor said that since there's no data on how supplements affect treatment to just avoid them all together. Dr said at 12 was after I could take them. I just thought since this is a natural supplement produced by your body for energy it would be harmless but it's not worth it if it could cause any problems. But its calle coq10 it's a liquid and Costco sells it. If you guys say not to take it I won't. I appreciate all the support and information I get from you all. This group has definitely been a big help! Thanks guys!!

Hi Steven,
While it may be relatively harmless, it could also alter your EOT blood test values. The reason for supplemental abstinence during treatment is due to this fact and the unknown impact supplements have on treatment and potential drug interactions. It's my opinion that you should follow your doctors instructions and forego any supplements until EOT +12 weeks. Hope this helps.

Hi guys I had a question. Did 8 wee of Harvoni and I've been off for 3 weeks. I am undetectable. My doctor suggested that I don't take any workout supplements until after 3 months after treatment. I have had some mental fatigue and was wondering if CoQ10 natural energy supplement was ok. It's naturally produced in our bodies and decreases production as we age . At Costco I tried a sample of it and it gave me the mental clarity that I've been lacking I was wondering what you guys think if it's safe to take this or if it might risk the virus coming back please let me know thank you guys
