Hi Tig,
She's crashed. Devastated. I did... I did nothing, it's all Anastasia. She's a real figther in this battle. I was able provide the support and some unsuccessful researches to find the way how to do some legal pressure on doctors.
TIPS finally killed Alex, we know it now. The doctor convinced Anastasia to install it but just lied about probability of side effects and consequencies.
She thinks that it was her final decision, agreement to install the TIPS which killed her husband.
Don't worry about me, I'm OK, just my heart is crying.
Thanks for your support.

Hey MM,
I'm so sorry to hear this. How is Anastasia holding up? And you? You worked very hard to see that Alex received the best care possible and never took no for an answer. He was in such a difficult situation following the TIPS procedure and never seemed to get past those set backs. You have been the best friend he and Anastasia could have asked for and I'm sure this is very hard to accept right now. You and Anastasia have my deepest condolences. Medics found a source of unknown infection in Alex's lungs. Antibiotics do not help to kill it. This pesthole is hidden and cannot be tested without surgical operation. Medics say Alex doesn't have chances to survive after this operation but transplant team insist to do it because the infection continues to kill Alex, Anastasia finally agreed with transplant team, giving them the permission for this operation. It will be today or tomorrow... She's asking for prayers to help Alex survive.

It has been a struggle from the beginning. You have been such a good friend and support for both Anastasia and Alex, keep it up. You are all a team and we have all followed your progress through treatment and then your assistance to both of them. Anyone looking back on your comments can only be amazed with what you have been able to do for them both. You should be proud of what you've accomplished, we certainly are. Chin up buddy...
When you're up to it, fill us in. Let us do what we can to help, a good word, a prayer, whatever we can accomplish together. You've shown us what being a supportive friend is all about and I hope we can provide some degree of that to you as well.
Don't forget about yourself. You've been through a lot of your own personal stress, with treatment and now this, for months. Please take time to think about your health too. You're very important as well, don't forget that.
