Congrats on your undetected  EOT result, KPB, that`s fantastic!! 

I can understand why you`re ready to move on with your life now and leave all the worry of Hep C and treatment behind, but I agree with the others that your doctor really should repeat the viral load test at 12 weeks post tx.  That`s the recommended protocol and he should know that!

That's nuts! Tell him s/he they need to follow the AASLD testing guidelines. That's a RNA viral load at EOT +12. They owe it to you and you've earned the right to know. They didn't makes us wait that long back in the OLD days, lol! DEMAND IT!

Outstanding news buddy!! Man, you just made my day. I knew you'd do it too. It's nerve racking being the patient, but we're seeing these new protocols just slay one dragon after another. Good morning,

I just returned from my EOT Doctor appointment,  my blood test has been returned as VL - UNDETECTED.

Doctor says: my status now is virus cleared,  next blood test is 08-01-2016, if UND at that time my status will be virus Cured

My new Doctor's orders for the next year are to:   (1) do not gain any weight ,  (2) do not drink Alcohol ,,,,,(simple ha)

ANYWAY, I will be turning the page and leaving my HEP C life behind, hopefully forever,  but....................

Before I do,  I want to tell everyone here that this web sight has been a wealth of information, a great stress reliever to comfort me in my many times of uncertainty, a voice of reason when my own voice was in panic.
