Thank you all!! PP I can't even imagine if my husband was this cranky too!! I actually asked the hospital if killing your spouse was a side effect of the meds! They weren't sure of my black humour and said they hoped notLOL

Hi Kathy,
Glad to hear you're almost finished with tx. As Jill said those who have done the Riba understand some of what you're going through. I can look back now and laugh at one episode I had. One of our cabinets has numerous food storage containers, Tupperware, Glad, etc. etc. At one point I was trying to find the correct lid for a container and couldn't. I pulled (or perhaps threw) :) almost all the containers out of the cabinet on the floor. Thank God my wife understood the Riba rage, she would have thought me crazy. Rest assured, things will improve once you get off the Riba. :) Be well.

Good to hear you`re almost at the finishing line, Kathy!
Most of us who have been through tx with riba understand only too well about the meltdowns, and it takes a lot of perseverance to get through it. I remember one particularly bad rage episode when I made a grown man cry, although actually he did deserve it! Lol
Best of luck, and hang in there!

Your just about there Kathy, I love to see the letters UND during treatment ,as a fellow type 3 I know its one hell of a battle going on inside your body.Type 3 dosen't go away quietly!! SVR is just down the road. Talking about riba rage , Check this out-- My wife was washing off fresh radishes in hot water, I thought you should wash them in cold water. That started a rage moment. It dosen't take much to set one off. Make the best of your week. RC

Hi Kathy,
Thats great! You can do one more week with your eyes closed, but I'd keep em open anyway, lol! Almost there, congrats.
The depression is a result of the Riba, as you know. It'll take awhile for that to improve after you're done, but it will. It'll be a good day when they can eliminate that stuff from the equation. Until then, know that it's killing those little buggers and it's all worth the end result. I'm sure you will remain undetectable. Be sure and let us know when you hear. T-Minus one week and counting!

Hi
Only 7 days of meds to go! At 4 weeks there was no detectable trace of virus and at my last appt on August 4th they said it takes them a while to get the results back. I guess with a clinical trial all blood work goes to the lab conducting the trial and then it's sent back to the administering hospital or clinic? Also at that appt I was more concerned with my increased depression and "riba rage" as I'd had a bit of a meltdown. They told me to see GP and /or psychiatrist which I did. Will find out more I hope at appt in one week
