Oh happy day my friend! Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but if you use those joints you may notice improvements in discomfort sooner but don't overdo it too soon. I would say just getting into the habit of moving your fingers and toes around on a regular basis would be a good place to start. Congratulations Rufus!

They figure SVR at EOT+12 now. I had them all through treatment eot+12, 24 and 1year but the tx's were pretty "iffy" 2-3 years ago. They have come a long way :)

Way to go Rufus! Dragon Slayer Member! I seem to understand a yearly would be correct from your standpoint now. The Doc's and people seem very confident with it. Congrats.

No problem, Rufus, you can say farewell and goodbye to your gastro doc, she is gone from your Hep C free life!!
You could request a EOT + 24 wk viral load test if you wanted it but, as Tig said, it`s really not necessary... you`re already there!
Congrats again on SVR!

Hey Rufus,
It's not required to make the determination of a viable SVR anymore. The AASLD guideline (criteria) for determining SVR is an undetectable RNA viral load at EOT +12 weeks. You will still see mention of viral testing out to EOT +24, but it really is part of the old mindset when +24 was the determining factor. No more...
EOT +14 and undetected? Dude, congratulations, you did it! SVR it is, enjoy your Hep free life...

How important is it to get a 24 week test. I was clear at 14 weeks eot. I can ask my pc for test but will not go back to gastro doc. She was the worst.
