Hi Rebeca. Congratulations on your SVR 12 results!
There was no reason to feel guilty for having HCV And now you won't have the HCV negative Sx's feeding your depression, so that will certainly improve. Try to be patient with your body and give it time to recover from the treatment medicine and your cholesterol, iron, and hemoglobin may stabilize more as that happens. Let it shine!

Hi all,
I donīt know you will remember me.I want to update my status. I īve treated with Harvoni and Iīve got UND 12 weeks post. So, Iīm very happy and I want to thanks all of you, because you have helped me a lot. Now, Iīm remembering my life with HCV, and I remember the relief I felt when I found this forum.
My life has begun to shine. I donīt punish me. Iīm realizing that I was very depressed and that I felt very guilty about having HCV .
Now I feel good, the only thing during those 12 weeks post treatment, has been that my cholesterol and iron have fluctuated widely. Now the ferritin is 8 (15-145) and iron in 40 (37 to 145). But two months ago my iron was 158 (37-145). Hemoglobin is a little low : 11.5 (12.1- 16). My doctor has not given importance, and told me that if I want to take iron itīs ok, but I I donīt know what to do.
Has anybody experienced the same?
Well, actually, this is not very important.Iīm happy and I want to thank you all.
