I expect most of you have noticed `Forum Maintenance` posts coming up in the side bar Chat Box and I just wanted to say a bit about what goes on there.
Those of us in the Admin team, your forum moderators, need to talk to each other sometimes about forum related issues, and those posts are where we communicate with each other.
The sort of things we discuss include ongoing improvements to the forum, how we can reach out to new members and make it easier for them to post, and how to respond to unusual or difficult situations which crop up from time to time.
We also need to let each other know when we won`t be available to help on the forum because of personal issues like sickness, moving house, (or sometimes even holidays!) so that we can make sure that there are enough of us around to be able to offer help and reply to questions when necessary.
I thought I would mention these posts in case any of you wondered what they were about and why you weren`t able to access them, and I hope this explanation is helpful.
If anyone would like to comment, please feel free.
