But this warning from Abbvie is only that, a warning of a potential risk for people with advanced cirrhosis, and a direction that those people need to be monitored more carefully while on these treatment drugs for any adverse indications of a worsening of their condition.
Abbvie`s `Viekirax` (Viekira Pak) has only been approved for use in the UK earlier this month, but any consultant treating people for Hep C should be aware of any side effects and possible risk factors with this or any other therapy.
