Well said both of you, Tig and Mike... the fight will continue until no-one has to suffer from either of these dreadful diseases again.

I'm always grateful for all the people who went before me doing the HCV trials and testing the 'old, hard to tolerate, marginally effective, sometimes permanently disabling' treatments which made this smooth, very effective Harvoni ride possible for me. I was a part of some of the earlier 'old, hard to tolerate, marginally effective, sometimes permanently disabling' HIV trials and am glad to see the progress that has been made towards a cure. Here's to the eradication of both HCV and HIV.

I want to take a moment to recognize that today, December 01, 2015, is dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the World AIDS Day. May we soon see an end to these diseases. Please remember those lost and continuing the fight...
