Congrats Matt.
Those old antiproteases were hell, but worth it in the end. Cheers.

Wow! If anyone needs a good example of someone willing to do what it takes to be cured of Hep C they can certainly learn from you. You've done a great job of sticking to your plan and you certainly deserve to live the rest of your life without that dragon on your back. Well done Matt!!!

Good job Matt!! You went through the mother of all Hep C treatments and came out the other side a victor. Congratulations Brother! Recovery will come, but we know it will take months or more to happen. You conquered an evil beast and gave much of yourself to do it. First be proud of yourself and what you have accomplished. Take some time to rest and recover, then prepare for the good times ahead!

Good to hear from you, Matt, and congrats on your 5 months post EOT undetected!
You did a long stretch of treatment and it`s going to take time to get your stamina back after 48 weeks, so don`t be too hard on yourself! Swimming in the pool is an excellent way to get back into exercising, as well as relaxing your mind at the same time.
Scruffy is right, the effect of some of these meds does linger on, and it takes about 6 months for your system to be clear of riba.
Will you be having another viral load test at 6 months post tx as well, do you know? I`m quite sure you`ll remain undetected at this point anyway!!
You`re well on track, hang in there.. and happy holidays!!!

And no virus detected still a little wobbly boot though both mentally and physycal .
i once enjoyed a workout but know it is a real chore. The pool seems to be the kindest form
of exersizing so far.
picked up some lazy habits one being eating lots of sweats buiscuts ect ,explains my weight 65kg on treatment to 80 kg now never use to like sweet things much before treatment also very sensative teeth now
but all in all i am very greatfull for the treatment opertunity and the loads of support i recieved from this forum
