Here you are, Ari, we already have a very comprehensive list of forum and medical abbreviations, it`s with the `sticky` posts in the New Members Area...
Hope someone can help me with what the abbreviations used in posts mean.
It seems that every country has different health systems, names for health professionals and ways of doing things - this makes some of the abbreviations people use in their posts even more confusing.
I have figured tx means treatment, EOT means end of treatment, VL means viral load, yo means years old.
SVR means virus undetected? but I'm not sure what the letters stand for. There are other abbreviations, just can't think of them right now.
Maybe someone can make a list and permanently post them in the new members forum?
