Sorry to hear about your latest test result Miami. I too failed 24 weeks Sovalvi in 2014 (plus ribavirin in my case). I was not happy but I knew there were other options available, so I continued to take care of my body and I have since retreated with a more effective protocol. This is a set-back but that's all it is. Try to keep your future in mind and keep your spirit high. There is a solution and success is likely closer than it feels like right now. Please keep us up to date on your continued journey and let us know more about your HCV experience.

Hi Miami,
Welcome to the forum, but I'm sorry to have your introduction made with such unfortunate news. Have you had the test repeated? I would wait to throw in the towel until you have another viral load done at EOT +12. We have members that were detected at the end of treatment but were undetected at week 12. That is more common than you might realize.
RC is right, if this is indeed the way it turns out, there are other options available now. You'll succeed in defeating the virus but it may take a bit longer depending on your circumstances. Here's a link to help you set up your signature, enter some of your treatment and test info there and it will help us provide better informed opinions. You hang in there, this is far from over for you. Many of us stumbled, but getting back up and staying determined has worked. It will for you too. Stay in touch...
Welcome to the forum Miami. Sorry to hear your news.If I understand your thread correctly, you have just finished 24 weeks of Sovaldi, and it sounds like 4 weeks into treatment you went UND, and at 5 weeks post (after treatment was over) you were detected? Solvaldi is always used with other drugs to fight HCV. Peg Interferon is one, Ribavirin is one, Daclatasvir is one, velpatasvir is also one. There could be others as well. What treatment combo were you on? Also it would be helpful if you could I.D. Your geno type. That will help us give you informed info on what to do next. There are other drug co"S That have very effective drugs. Feel confident that you have lots of options. RC

Hi everyone. I've had hepC for over 20 years and tried all form of treatments. Finished 6 months of sovaldi in November. After 4 weeks my results were un detectable. Just got my results of my test after 5 weeks of finishing treatment and the virus is BACK. Anyone has experience this? I am totally frustrated!!
