Oh my goodness yes it is great news! It can take a while to get back on your feet, but the worst is over for you. So very happy for you!

That is EXCELLENT news Jaded!!! This really makes my day. Congratulations are in order. You have beaten that dragon this time and I know you are happy to get all that feeling bad behind you and have some new energy. It's a good thing because you have a lot of dancing to do. Take that break but please keep us up to date on your continued recovery. Let the SVR-12 party begin.

Hey Jaded,
BIG WOOT on that great bit of news! What a wonderful way to start the weekend, yeah!!! I know after hearing this, a lot of weight and concern has been lifted off your shoulders and your subconscious mind. We all have a feeling, but it's never as comforting as hearing it straight from the lab, UNDETECTED - SVR12. Now you can begin to relax and continue on with what sounds like a good plan for recovery. We have all enjoyed your company here on the forum and hope you will continue to check in. Your support has been valued by all of us! Congratulations, you did it

I actually had to make the receptionist look for my results because the nurse hadn't called back and it's been a couple of days...but I'm too happy to be angry at the anxiety she caused me making me wait longer than I needed to.
It seems my battle with the post tx fatigue is finally ending...I feel much better this week and have begun to exercise again. I thought I'd be weak and sore after 6 weeks of being sedentary but I seem to have picked up where I left off. My estimated GFR which had dropped to down near the lower limits of normal has gone back up about 25 units to where it used to be and my blood pressure even without the meds is close to a high normal which is a big improvement over the last decade. After reading that ace inhibitors and vitamin E (a-tocopherol) help with regression of fibrosis...I have gone back on Ramipril and bought some vitamin E. My nerves are settling down now. I want to stop thinking about all this...I have been obsessing since I 1st learned of our Provincial coverage of Harvoni last March...I finally can now stop waiting for this day. I need to stop reading this board as many times a day as I have been doing...so I will take a break from here for a while. Thank you to everybody for the support and I wish you all the very best in life...may it be a long and happy one for all of us.
God bless
