hi mike.was over the moon when i heard you were virus free .i know you have been to hell and back the last few yrs.getting that dragon off your back you can concentrate on getting fit as possible.i have told lots of people in my area about this forum.i dont understand them i tell them how much info they can get from this forum but they say the same thing oh ill have a look at that.thats as far as it goes.still im so glad im apart of this.one of the best things ive done.still get joint and muscle pains.i go for a few days feeling quite good.then wake up another day feeling ive gone 10 rounds with mike tyson.but on the whole where ive come from im 100%better. wish you well in your recovery mike all the very best of health to you william

I 2nd that motion William. Your friend will certainly be welcome here. We have another warrior (webtomass) who just recently started on Sofosbuvir, Velpatasvir, GS-9857. That thread is young and limited on information right now so it needs more members to jump on board. We'll be very interested in anyone on this protocol for sure.
Thanks for stopping in. It's good for everybody to hear from the veterans who have already achieved SVR. I hope your joint pain is getting better too. I'm only 4 wks post EOT but I seem to be getting through my aerobic exercises with less pain than before.

Hi William, I think your friend is referring to a phase 3 clinical trial by the name of `Polaris 1`, which is for Sofosbuvir/Velpatasvir/GS-9857, from Gilead Sciences.
Here`s the details of the trial for people who have failed a previous DAA tx...
These are great drugs, your friend would be well advised to get into this trial! Good luck to him!

am wondering if anyone has heard about a new drug on trials in canada.goes under the name of polaris 1.my friend who has failed on interferon/riba and also solvidi/riba.has been offered to go on a med called polaris 1 which is made in canada.any infomation would be appreciated thanks william
