You had a CT in November 2015, that showed diffuse fatty liver. You may well have NASH, which would explain the raised enzymes.
Relapse is unlikely.
I'd want a full diabetes profile, and you should have a liver biopsy to explain your low platelets. Your spleen was quite large on your CT and I would want to exclude cirrhosis.
I hope you're not back on the milk thistle. Cheers.

Your LFT's are definitely elevating as you mentioned. I have to ask, what is your Hepatologists impression? Any other reason that you're aware of that may be responsible? Medications like Tylenol and NSAIDS in large doses over a period of time can cause some elevations. The only recommendation I can make is to get that viral load drawn and see where you stand.
I'm sure this is a frustrating time for you. The odds of relapse are so low, they are a rarity now. But with that said, there remains the possibility. The next treatments are impressive and if this turns out to be the news you fear, just know that each generation of these rapidly advancing protocols gets better and better. Get tested and let us know what you find out.

Hello Tig, My liver enzymes are below. Also, I attached the last 2 months drawn.
Agreed, the reason could be a number of things. Medication, strenuous exercise or something that needs to be addressed. You didn't mention what your enzymes are, can you share that? Are they abnormal or still within normal limits? The only way to rule out relapse is to have another viral load drawn. I would request that before doing anymore worrying. Worry can eat you up, take the test and you'll be able to put this concern to rest. As mentioned, the odds of relapse are low, but you should determine what's causing this to occur. Good luck...

Dre, Just a slight up-tick in you LFT"s could be from other med"s you may have taken like Tylenol or other OTC meds. You could have a blood draw taken two days later and your numbers could well be lower than on the day of the test. I wouldent be worried about relapse. You have a lot of time under your belt UND . If you have slight cirrhosis it will cause elevated lft"s. IMO you should be ok! Just keep a close eye on those results like your doing. RC

Hello, In 2014, I had a colon resection and was on chemo for 6 months. However, the chemo ended in April 2015. My liver enzymes had been steadily going down to the normal range. Its just so happen in the last month, the enzymes have increased slightly. I dont know what my F status is because I have never had a fibroscan. I dont have any other underlying medical conditions. I had liver blood work as a park of my yearly physical.

Hi there,
Congrats on becoming undetected on Harvoni!
Good you are following your labs.
What does your doc say?? What do you think?
Do you have more info, as background, your F status and such, other conditons, so as to enable some of us to be able to think on it more?
I am sure others will be along shortly to help you think this through.
Try not to fret, you and you doc are already on it - there may be some very benign plausible reasons for this, sit tight and see what possible explanations start to come forth for why you see this. Canuck

Hello Everyone, I have been off Harvoni since September 2015. I have been monitoring my labs for almost 6 months and notice that my all of my liver enzymes keeps on increasing. I had my last hep c test in January and it was undetectable. Can someone please provide insight on why liver enzymes would keep increasing?
