Hi Tig! I am so happy to hear the news, and thanks for the update. I still can't believe you have to pay for all those tests in the States.
BTW, I love your status that says "cured"!!!

Hey great you share all with us. So good to know this, and so pleased for you!
Portable U/S eh? Interesting. Yes, so many new ways, tools and drugs - everything is looking up, fer sure!
I had my first fibroscan done on a "portable unit" they packed it with them on a plane to see outreach patients! Amazing to think, that not that long ago, it was hard to find many fibroscan machines available period.
Lovely that you let us know your good news. Appreciate it.
Hey what's that strange growth on your face??heehee Canuck

Good for you! That's great to hear Tig. You are one of the early pioneers who achieved SVR tougher than us later arrivals do and we owe a lot to you and the other older pioneers for making our journey smoother. And double thanks for all the good you continue to do for all of the ones still fighting this virus. Next stop for you, SVR-156.

I have not. I've got to find a new Hepa after obtaining a new PCP. Had some insurance problems and lost all of my former specialists. My wife and I have a mobile diagnostic ultrasound company, but don't have the FS equipment or probe. I am fortunate to be able to have the rest of the ultrasounds done at a fabulous price though! My last staging was just prior to my last treatment, via biopsy, F3, but with the early spleen enlargement. I have to wonder if I wasn't higher, likely so. It was a multi sample CT guided biopsy, so the pathologist and radiologist felt good that it was accurate. It concerns me less now, because I know I'm getting better all the time. The ultrasounds, along with the excellent blood reports, are indicative of success (improvements) in my opinion. But we all have to remember to stay on top of it, so the tests will periodically continue. Thanks Gracie!

Thank you my friends! We do this for each other and everyone here matters. It's been my honor to be part of this pioneering effort and instead of sitting back watching the decades go by without a new solution, we're seeing them approach us faster than some of us can keep up. Wherever you are in this journey, know that your time is near. Together I hope we will soon be witness to the final death blow this Dragon so deserves. You all hang in there and know that the improvements do come, in my case it's taken over 2 years since SVR to notice them, but happen they have, hooray!

Hi All,
I don't say much about myself on the forum anymore, my time has come and gone for highlights. But still wanted to share with you that I had a full abdominal ultrasound today. Liver is perfect, and my previously enlarged spleen is back to normal, pancreas is in good shape too. No masses, no problems! Yeah, recovery continues!! SVR is a good thing...
