For the Aussies among us, I wanted to bump this excellent thread back into review. It deals with some forward thinking by the Australian health system. I recommend you take the time to view the videos.

These are good videos. We are not promoting GP2U, but regard this as a good summary.
I hope Australian patients do not have too many hassles getting these drugs.
I know there are numerous Geno 3's waiting for this.
Thanks Brett.

The moderators of the forum have given me permission to post these videos. They have been produced by GP2U, an Australian online medical practice with experience treating Hep C patients.
The first video is a 90 second overview of how to access the Hep C medication, what to expect during treatment and expected results. It's an average patient experience and individual cases may vary. For example, you may need Ribavirin and side effects can be worse. As always, consult with your GP
The second video is Dr James Freeman, founder of GP2U answering common questions about the new Hep C medications and how Australians can access them now that they are on the PBS.
I'd like to thank the moderators of this forum again for allowing us to post these videos.
