Girls - I am not going anywhere. I will be active as always here. Maybe not next week while in training but I now consider all of you family and I have to know how everyone is doing with the dragon slaying. And the feet and toe issues, see how many more watches Jimmy buys, etc

Wow Wendy,
you don't do things by halves. So happy with the Undetexted result for you. You have certainly fought a few hard battles to get where you are. Sounds as though your liver has come out of it all pretty well too.
the icing on the cake for your son to be offered a job so soon after he finished training. One of my sons is a welder, he has worked overseas and even with our down in manufacturing he has always had work. He welds the tiny stainless steel pipes that they use in the manufacture of vaccines now.
Florida sounds like a beautiful place to live, it's high on my wish list of places to visit if I ever have enough money to go to the US.
Wih good health, in a perfect climate, with a happy son, it sounds like a new life is opening up for you.
thanks also for the many hours you have put in to educating and encouraging people in this forum.
congratulations on all of it.
Syd.

I wish I was retiring RC, just changing jobs. Doing the same thing but for another company. I like what I do and am good at it says my clients, so hopefully this place will get me to retirement. (I work in the benefits industry)
Tig you are stuck with me in the sunshine state. Home office is in TX and I am just going there for training. Thanks for the kind words about my son. I am proud of him.

You've always been there to lend support to others and it's so greatly appreciated, now it's time to enjoy your new HCV-Free life.
Retiring for me was a relief, I think you'll find it enjoyable and it's nice to be able to go places, pursue things that you couldn't before and actually be able to stop and smell the roses. Doh! What was I thinkin' you're still young, of course you won't be retiring soon ... sorry Wendy
Very happy for you. '
Best Wishes,
Dave
p.s. Glad your son has some wonderful news of his own ... bonus!

Congratulations Wendy! This is fabulous news! What a terrific day you've had. I am proud of you and your son. You must both be about ready to bust!
Welding provided me with a career that took me everywhere I wanted to go. I'm so pleased that he went into the Trades, we need to encourage more of our youth to consider that career course. The opportunities and money are good in so many areas around the world, if he's interested in travel.
I wish you the very best of luck on your new job in Texas. It's a wonderful state that offers a great way of life. Just stay off the blacktop parking lots in the summertime. You'll remember me when you cross one, make sure you're wearing shoes! Jimmy can tell you about that
I look forward to hearing from you as your recovery progresses. Life is going to be better than great, just look around you. This is just the beginning....
Hi Wendy.. You came out slugging and fought hard, and now it's paying off! I"m so happy for you, RETIRMENT will be so much better with the monster behind you. Your a trooper going through the treatments you have been through. It's payday and you hit good pay dirt!! I retired about 2-1/2 years ago and my plan was to golf a LOT, take the first year of my retirement off and enjoy life and then start the treatment battle . Sounds good so far except the fact that I relapsed twice. Things don't always go as we planed, I did get my golf handicap down to 18 in the first year, but with my HCV treatments and foot (feet) problems haven't gone as planed. I do however have the rest of my life to conquer HCV, get my handicap down to 11 and get on with all the little things in life that matter. Your on your way!! RC
