Glad you're doing well with the Harvoni and, based on my experience, I expect that will continue. Keep doing what you're doing and you should have a smooth ride.
I think doing the support group is great idea and if you're area is like mine around here, one is badly needed. That's a big deal getting the support from the doctors especially one being a gastroenterologist.
You and Ester keep up the good work and keep us posted on the progress of both your treatment and the growth of your group.

The support group sounds great Mike. Having more people here to share with and help is great when that happens.
Harvoni is for the most part an easy ride and when it's not it's still very tolerable, well in my case and probably in yours.
Day 33 here
Cheers

Fantastic news Mike! I'm so pleased to hear about your local support group and the endorsement from your physician friends. That's the kind of support and advocacy that makes a very positive difference. Good job Mike and tell Ester that we all appreciate her commitment as well.
I wish you the best of luck with your local group and we will most certainly welcome your group into the fold here. Afterall, we're one big family with a similar goal, SVR and seeing an end of this disease.
Keep up your healthy habits, diet and don't forget, HYDRATE!!! Good luck...

Hi everyone. Third day on Harvoni. Side effects none that I can feel, and daily activities remain the same. Exercise in the am, plenty of water, sensible diet (low in fat and dairy), and taking medication around the same time each day. There is nothing unusual to report.
On another note, the support group I started in my community is growing more and more. Some doors opened last evening when the Mrs. and I went to a dinner and we saw two doctor friends of ours (and he is a gastroenterologist, she is family practice), and we told them about the hep c support group I started and they told me they would endorse and sponsor us. This is going to give me a great big open door into helping people who need answers and support. And, my friends here should rest assured that many of the people who join my support group will most likely join the hep c discussion forum also.
Anyway, Ester and I are pretty excited about all this.
