Good to hear from you again Nirmalee. It sounds like your liver is recovering well. I remember you were cirrhotic and was wondering if you have had any recent test to determine the current extent of your fibrosis? It sounds to me like your damage may be regressing back to a non-cirrhotic condition. Did you see Malcolm's thread revealing his latest test result is A1 F3.
Thanks for sharing your success story for those following in your footsteps although the road for us is much smoother because of pioneers like you paving the rocky road for us. I wish you a continued successful recovery and much happiness!

Great to hear from you again, Nirmalee, and I`m very happy that your quality of life has improved so much in the time since you achieved your hard won SVR!! You were one of the first people to greet me when I first joined the forum, and as I remember, you were struggling through your 2nd round of long and difficult tx at that time. I was full of admiration back then for your determination and courage, and I still am!
Thanks so much for such a positive and encouraging post, stories like this are sweet music to our ears!
Wishing you many happy times to come and ever better health, you certainly deserve it!
Take care, Jill xx

Hi Nirmalee,
Thanks for your most encouraging post ... I'm very happy that you are finally feeling so much better, you had a really rough go of it but you persevered, we're all so proud and happy for ya.
27 days of Sof/Riba left here ... getting near the end of Tx like this has really recharged my batteries, I think it's also seeing so many success stories lately too ... so posts like this really do help ... Thank You!
May you have continued happiness and successes in life, congrats on feeling better ... that's what it's all about being better so we can get on with enjoying our lives.
With Admiration,
Dave

Hi,
I am posting because I am 16 months off Sobisvor, Daclatisvir and Riba. Now when I am ill I can still make it into work, over the last academic year I have only had 2 days off (I'm a lecturer) instead of the 2 weeks for each illness that I would have had to take off before. My life is so much better now and I can cope with everything that is thrown at me. The treatment was tough for me (my 3rd go) but the benefits cancel that out. For everyone who is undergoing treatment - hang on in there - it is worth it.
