Hi William. I thought about you Wednesday when I was at a meeting, after which I met and talked to a man who had a transplant 21 years ago and still living his life just as everybody else. I may see him again and, if so, I'll mention this forum and this thread and invite him to share his experience. I wish you well on the test and will be waiting to hear your results. You stuck with treatment well enough to acheive SVR and you can stick with this transplant and get a new lease on life. I don't know much about transplants but I know how to cheer so just know you've got a cheerleader pulling for you here. Good luck and prayers sent.

Hi William,
I am up to the sof/dak/rib place on the road you are on. Hoping for SVR and improvement in liver function but knowing it is not a given. Many kind thoughts will be with you from April 4-9. Please keep posting, it helps to know how many people here care and empathise.

Hi William,
Good to hear from you. I'm very anxious to hear about your meeting in April. I'm sure you're more than anxious to find out what they have to say. Just know that they have really got the procedure down to a science and it is extremely successful now. You have really improved the procedure and outcome by acheiving SVR pre transplant.
I wish you the very best during your appointment. You'll have a very good picture of your current health and a clear idea of what lies ahead. It will be good to know and I have to believe it will help relieve some tension. Do your best to be positive and know that we'll be right here with you. I want to hear from you when you know anything. Good luck mate!
