Sugar WILL affect joint pain. It is as simple as that. It generally will not affect muscle pain.
Darlin if your Motto is be prepared, well...Sugar fix is not a Fix. ;)

I had pains in my hands and feet which mostly subsided after treatment ended, however, this week it was back again so not completely gone I'm afraid. And the sweets craving was back too. Good thing I had some ice cream bars stashed in the freezer. Be prepared was my girl guide motto and still works today!

Hi Mike,
I am in my 8th week. I cannot say for sure that I am not experiencing any joint pain because it would all be very minimal and I cannot blame it on Harvoni. Regarding the sweets, I have always craved those Carbs at the end of the day, night and still do. It is possible that I crave them a little more now and have thought about it. The problem with the sweets is that the more carbs we take in, the more the body craves so it's a vicious circle.
** Just one more chocolate
I am glad that you also are not experiencing any bad sides. I have had only a few bad days actually but for the most part it has been very tolerable if I can even use that word.
Keep up the good fight.

Hello Brothers and Sisters!
I have been on harvoni now for 3 weeks. Very few if any side effects. But I have been experiencing discomfort in both knees, and the left ankle. Shoulders are sore, but that is normal for me cause I swim every day. But the lower joint pain is not normal for me. My weight is steady at 208lbs, and I'm 5'10.5". Appetite has not changed. I drink lots and lots of water through the day. All other vitals within normal limits. Been relishing in sweet stuff at end of day, like ice cream and pudding before I go to bed also. I have spoke with some members privately about this, was wondering if there were any more of you on Harvoni for about the same length of time with similar side effects?
Please don't hate me. ( LOL )
