At this point brother the numbers have not taken a drastic change. Just keep your wits and I will say it again, from where you were to where you are is an incredible plunge in both factors.

Thank you everyone for the support.
Yes I understand being F4 can make my LFT's higher but my concern was they were lower and even lower yet at the 4 wk test.
First things first, lets see how the C VL is and then the B, to ensure it did not resurface (Thinking it probably did not )

Hi SF
Up is the wrong way to go if your Talking about lfts. Some variation is normall, let's just hope this is a normal fluctuation . If your f3-4. Then a hi lft would be normall. Also type 3 lft"s run a little higher. You will get SVR. RC

He's got SF on smoothies now (he got Mike horribly addicted to them long ago!), I keep asking if I could try that stuff too, just to see what the big deal is ... but nobody will give me even one!, (I promise, I would only just try one, once, OK?, - pleeeease?), AND NOW, (OMG!, how do these things happen!), he's got syd ooooooming!! Pacific N.W. pusher-man, syndicate or something going on over there. C. Hey SF, I agree with syd's Rx, that WILL make you feel a lot better (when you get your VL). Won't be too much longer.

Hi SF,
i remember when I had my last lot of bloods done (now when was that? Summer of '89??) - sorry just packing in my own personal whinge here - anyway the Alt, Ast, and Alp had all gone up, not a lot but like yours, up NOT down.
I was devastated. Looking back I think it's just the hope and high levels of anxiety that we all share to some degree before we get that official SVR, which worms its way into our psyches and results in that reaction.
I hope you get some cold hard medical results on Monday to allay your fears.
And yes, after the 27th, I'm going to do my best to jump in the same direction as Dave.... This disease , this treatment, has shaken me around by the scruff of the neck for too long. ommmm. Whether it's worked or not, the result will not be influenced by me cowering in my metaphysical corner...... Ooooooom I'm going to put on my very under used Pollyanna hat and cope with relapse when it's official and not one day before. Ooooooom
Hugs,
Syd

You've done everything right, the test results are normal (and for a guy who has had cirrhosis, results are VERY good), now kick back, relax and enjoy being Tx-free and on your way to SVR ... positive thinking and less stress can't hurt any ... you got this and so do I ... no tests for me 'till July ... I could worry all that time but it wouldn't do me any good ... in fact the stress is not what the body needs right now as it readjusts to not being on the meds. Trust in the meds, trust in yourself ... trust in a higher power ... now go baby that liver for a while you've got some healing to do.

SF,
I agree with Jimmy (and the others) and his "big picture" comparative.
Had you had an ALT, every day, for the last 12, 24 weeks (or longer) you would have had the luxury of watching the day to day fluctuations.
Do this .... (over and over again) compare 43 to 137. 43 versus 137. Repeat after me! 43 versus 137!!
FLUCTUATIONS.
Like I said to tkflex today - THAT's the way we do it!!! Keep celebrating your wonderful alt/ast/alk.phos, there is more good stuff to come. C.

Hi SF,
I agree with Tig and Jimmy, you have no reason to be concerned about such small fluctuations, those numbers are absolutely fine.
This is bound to be an anxious time for you while you`re waiting for your VL results but it won`t be much longer now.
You`re still on course for SVR, so try not to worry...

Thank you both for responding so quickly. I spoke to my NP since I posted this a few minutes ago and she said she will call public health the beginning of next week to try and get my VL results. I understand I am healing and will try to not dwell on this but it is a bit disconcerting.
Thank you kindly again, it is appreciated more than you will ever know.
Take care

Hi SF.
Start here.
1) Compare your sig line to the most recent numbers.
2) Do that again now.
The numbers do in fact fluctuate and you need to consider while they are high normal, fact is they are normal.
Once you get the VL and assuming you are UND, remember it wil take some time for your liver to heal.
I understand the concern but right now not warranted.

Hey SF,
Relax, that's a normal fluctuation. They will never remain static. Food, medications, metabolic changes, as well as other things will cause minor fluctuations. The concerns come when they really elevate. In relapses or breakthroughs, the ALT generally gives the first indication, as well as the viral load of course. Do your best to not overthink it. You just ended treatment and now your body is clearing the medication and getting back in sync with reality. You can expect these things to occur. Don't dwell on the negative, concentrate of the positive. I've got your dragon under observation, looks pretty dead to me!

I had my EOT blood work done one week ago and repeated yesterday from my yearly Physical. There have been some changed in my LFT's and I am concerned and have a call into my NP for her opinion. I still do not know about VL of B or C
Last week This week
ALP 68 73 range is 30-110
ALT 35 43 range is 4-43 ** Moved up 8 to high of range
AST 25 30 range is 6-42 ** Moved up 5
I don't know if they should still fluctuate some but I don't like this ... maybe over thinking. I will have another lab test in two weeks or three since I was to have EOT + 4! I see my specialist on the 30th so thinking I might go earlier since I can get the results the next day online and take them to him.
Thoughts anybody? I am not happy and nervous they have gone up even if slightly making me wonder if it's not gone.
Yes it is Jimmy ...
