And that is using FF, but that You Tube icon is not showing up when you attempt to post a video? That doesn't make any sense to me but I'll see if I can figure it out.
FYI: I corrupted those 2 address links in my previous post by coloring part of them red. I just now noticed that they did not function correctly and fixed them if you want to go back and have another look.
I momentarily turned off McAffe Firewall and did not change anything.

Jimmy, here's something for you to try if / when you get time:
1 - open another Window with this forum loaded and click on reply to any thread: (this is for test purpose and will not require you to actually post this reply).
2 - Right click on the space where the You Tube icon should be (circled in red in the below image). Then, from the drop-down menu select 'Inspect Element' (circled in green),
If so, look at the firewall settings on your computer to see if your log events file includes the following address being blocked or any other You Tube related entries.
Okay, I had to do it. I installed FF to determine if that wiley coyote of an icon, You Tube, showed up in my advanced editor. It does...
I'm sorry Brisket Master, you apparently have a technical discombobulation of the browser. We will provide all support and technical assistance in hopes of resolving this apparent video set back.
Mike? Where are you Mike? My Technology for Dummies handbook is useless. All it says is use the browser that works, lol! Simpletons...

This is not a new issue for you Jimmy, I thought I was just having a Dejavu moment but ...
Maybe try disabling all your add-ons then add them back on at a time while testing to see the effect here, you often need to restart FF to make changes to Add-Ons take effect.

Well you could always come to my house and mess with my system. I could do a Brisket or something. LOL
See below. I opened it all up side by side in real time. Edge has the Icon for YT and FF does not.

I've already ruled out Java as the culprit (in Windows 10 anyway). My curiosity won't let me stop until I figure this out. I'll dig deeper as I get time. I'm going to be very busy with family stuff for the next few days so I'll let you know when I find an answer.
EDIT = (in Windows 10 anyway)

I removed Java from my system some time back and my bet is that is it. No problem Edge works great and I am set up here like NASA anyway so I generally have a number of options to get something done.
Thanks brother!

Here is a quick shot of two of my monitors side by side. You can see in FF no Icon in Edge yes.
Screen shots are both maybe to minutes old. Did it while discussing this with you.

When were those screen shots taken - one is current I assume. What about the other? What changes have you made to your browser (e.g. changes to your 'Java' plug-in)?

______________________________________________________________
3 - Right click anywhere in the highlighted area (black arrow in the below image). Then select 'Copy Link Address' (purple)
_________________________________________________________
4 - Open a new tab and paste that copied address into your browser address bar (yellow below image) then open the link.
The image should be a small caption window with the letters "spoil" or similar.
The copied address should be the following, or similar:
http://hepcfriends.activeboard.com/js.ln/tinymce_3_5_8/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/sparkbb/images/sparkbb_spoiler.gif

If so, look at the firewall settings on your computer to see if your log events file includes the following address being blocked or any other You Tube related entries.
http://hepcfriends.activeboard.com/js.ln/tinymce_3_5_8/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/sparkbb/images/sparkbb_youtube.gif
If so allow / enable that item to pass through your firewall.
Post the results of what you find here.
You did Dave, you really did. LOL
Maybe it's a Windows problem Jimmy ...
... had to say it ... LOL
Linux
Tig I have the same book and I like it. LOL
