If you are not already doing so, it's a good idea to have a weekly medicine dispenser, they help keep track and act as a reminder to take your meds. Setting an alarm and taking it at the same times every day is another way to ensure compliance. You'll do fine but as others have said, you don't want to do that again.
Singsong, Congrats on reaching EOT and being UND !! Nice Work
Be Well,

Hi Tom
Like the guys say, don't sweat it. No biggie at this stage.
Congrats on finishing Singsong.

Tom, I just finished Harvoni Monday. 8 weeks. I didn't have any side effects to speak of and it's been no different once I was done. Just the waiting game for 12 week test for SVR.

I won't, Jimmy, and that's done, Tig. I would have been finished a week from today. It'll be an additional tough 24 hours. I was gonna stagger the last 11 days and take one every 21.5 hours. The PA said I was overthinking (I'm not frequently accused of that), and to just go 85 days.
Thanks for replying. I was embarrassed to inquire. Should I expect to feel any different when I'm done? For the most part, and except for dreams, it's kind of been like taking a placebo every day. Near zero side effects.

Hey Tom,
I agree, at this stage of treatment, missing one dose won't present a problem. That doesn't mean you're off the hook though. This will require a 30 minute time out in the corner of your choice! Take a quart of water with you and finish it before the 30 minutes is up.
Hope you had a great vacation!

Greetings,
Keep in mind many folks are cured with 8 weeks of Harvoni. Missing one pill is pretty unlikely to have any sort of profound effect. The main problem with compliance is the formation of RAV's if not compliant. Of course I think it is safe to assume that forming RAV's while in a state of UND is pretty hard to imagine.
Generally speaking, most folks are UND by day 28 on Harvoni. I would tend to be more concerned missing early on in treatment than at day 73 at which time you may well be cured.
If the Dr holds that it is "no big deal" I would tend to agree.
Don't do that again. LOL

Took a five-day vacay in N. CA, then missed dose on day 73...
Called Drs office, and when pill count on day 74 revealed one too many. I was horrified and remorseful, but was told no big deal, just extend Tx to 85 days. I was embarrassed to ask if anyone else had screwed up like this. so day 76 today, last pill on Monday June 27. I hope she was right. Any insights?
