Cheddy,
We are all up and happy dancing for ya, fer sure!
Just wonderful to have that EOT+4 weeks UND under your belt!
Great outcome for having to "do" the hard work of sof/rib (like Linux) for 12 weeks.
It is obvious, that sof/rib does work, thus people are still getting it - I only have one regret (for the riba doers) - I just wish that less potentially burdensome treatments were always offered to everyone ... (like treatments not including riba!).
I hope you and Linux get back to feeling right as rain (and riba-less), ASAP, after your cure.
Big party for you two will be happening, again, at EOT+12 (and riba's name has been struck off the invite list)! C.

Yeah Cheddy!! Great to see that come back undetected at EOT +4 weeks(SVR4). If you achieve SVR4, the probability of SVR 12 is almost assured. I would be very positive and excited at this stage of your post treatment period. The post tx 12 weeks are difficult, maybe more mentally stressful than tx itself. Lots of wondering and second guessing goes on during that time. The SVR4 viral load may not be necessary, but it certainly plugs you back into the positive side of the equation. I wish they would consider that a rule. I would rather have them every 4 weeks until the first undetected result, then schedule the next at EOT +4 and +12. The ALT/AST and CBC provide adequate monitoring during treatment and almost everyone goes undetected at some point during treatment anyway. If there is going to be a relapse, it almost always occurs by EOT+4. SVR4 is wonderful news!
WOOT!!

Thanks Linuxter. I think we did the same treatment and around the same time. You're about a month ahead of me, I think. How are you feeling? Getting out of the fog? Please shoot me an update.
I'm pulling for us all.
Hi Cheddy,
Yes, exact same Tx and duration. My SOT was Jan 20 so very close to 1 month difference.
The fog has lifted and did so quite quickly (two weeks maybe), I was getting pretty dense toward the end of Tx. The Rage lessened after EOT but I still get periodic episodes. I've found I can't slack off on the water or it will all hit me. I had some headaches recently and depression ebbs and flows (it's from the Riba), I can tell the lingering Riba will be with me longer than I had hoped ... but the good news is that if I maintain adequate water and eats lots of greens, fresh fruit and get a little exercise (helps the depression) I can be virtually side effect free (sometimes easier said than done but they are effective at keeping all of the above at bay).
I keep wanting to resume with home improvement projects and get on with life (i.e. get past HCV, Tx, Side Effects) but I still need to pace myself. Hopefully, and I have little doubt, it will all happen in time (LOL, just one more little waiting game after what seems like thousands).
With proper maintenance, Life is Good and getting Better.
Getting Undetected news has got to outweigh All Of The Above I know I need that shot in the arm, 3 more weeks and I'll be looking and UND and SVR, so far I've seen <15 detected @ 4 wks (which is great but I so can't wait to see that UND).
So how's it go for you, glad to be done with the Riba, no doubt!

I just got back some of my blood work. ONE MONTH POST TREATMENT and UN-FRICKEN-DETECTED!!!!!!!!!! Happy dance, happy dance, happy dance.
My general chemistry results from last week have gone missing. I only saw direct bilirubin which came in at a happy 2. Last month, at the end of treatment, my ALT, AST, and general liver functions were normal. There were some fishy red and white cell counts at that time - likely due to ribavirin. I hope they come up with the results from last weeks blood draw for comparison. Isn't that why we do them?
Now, if I can get my mood to stabilize -geez -pretty up and down. But today, I dance. Everybody on your feet!. WooHoo!
