Ah, dear Wendy, Syd, Tig, Linuxter and Shadow.
Seriously ... WHAT would I do without you all, and without this wonderful forum?!
Thankyou for helping me maintain my sanity whilst on this rocky path.
Yes Shadow, I had a feeling that might sound pretty funny to those of you in the colder climates.
We had a 34.2C day this winter, back in May ... I think -30 would probably just make me cry lol
ps. I have always wanted to visit Canada ... you guys just seem to get it right in so many ways.
Also Justin Trudeau is quite lovely *sigh*

Hi Nightowl,
There is lots of good advice in this thread and i would not worry about that pill at all. Even if it was susubjected to temperatures out of the normal storage range (and I am pretty sure it was not) It was for a very short duration of time.
The chances of you heating up your car to 30C is pretty unlikely unless you have a great car heater and don`t mind a hot summers day. I must smile when you talk about 18C being a cold winter day ... Come to Canada and we will show you cold. 18C (64F) is a nice spring or fall day. Lets talk -20 to -30 C then we are cold.
Please don`t worry about the pill. It will be fine. Enjoy the rest of the Harvoni train ride as you are getting close to the prize.

You're all good NightOwl, one pill, one time, not long, temp not that extreme ... no worries.
I wouldn't give it another thought. Do avoid storing your meds in the bathroom, hot "moist" air such as from a shower is not a good place but it sounds like you found a good cool, dry place to store them ... all good.

We had a talk about this a while back. First, you're fine, that's not a problem. You would have to leave it in there for quite awhile to do any damage. Here's the discussion we had.
Do not worry, it was one pill, not the entire bottle. You are fine my friend.

Okay ... well this is possibly me worrying/over-thinking things ... as I have been known to do ... but I am feeling very stressed about this so I must ask!
I'm currently on Day 49 today!
I am usually at home when I take my tablet - thus I simply retrieve it from it's bottle in my cool, dark linen cupboard.
However, I had to go out this morning about an hour before I was due to take my tablet ... so I put one tablet my other empty Harvoni bottle from last month with some cotton wool and put it in my handbag.
Anyway, long story short, I got lost and spent about 40 mins on the side of the road trying to figure out directions when my tablet alarm went off on my phone. It was then that I suddenly realized it was quite warm in the car, and that my handbag had been sitting on the passenger seat of my car in the sun. The bottle felt a little warm.
Whilst it is winter here in Aus and the outside temperature today was 18 degrees C, it was still quite warm in my car ... but I don't think it was over 30 degrees C??? But I can't be sure. My friend said I would be sweating if it was 30 degrees C ... and I wasn't, but I do remember stupidly sitting there basking in the sun thinking how lovely it was to be sitting in such a lovely warm car on a cold winters day.
Anyway dear friends ... tablet in a warm car for about max 45 minutes today ... at quite possibly over 30 degrees C ... but maybe not ... should I be worried?
