Just wanted to mention this as sometimes it is best to state the obvious, other than morning coffee, make sure you are not drinking caffeine during the day as this will definitely play into the insomnia factor. Keep eye on items that have it in them such as chocolate.

Forgetting a dose happens and there are guidelines listed for each drug on the manufacturers insert. Some good ideas and advice already. Remember:
Set an alarm, set two. Have one with you at all times. A smartphone makes this possible. Don't ignore them when they go off.
Take your meds on a set schedule everyday.
Stay hydrated, you may not be drinking enough water. You're having two side effects, insomnia and brain fog (confusion). Keep it as close to a gallon + per day, it will be a benefit.
If you can't sleep, rest. Comes a time when shutting off whatever you're watching or listening to is a good idea.
As Cheddy mentioned, you probably won't do this again!

I called the pharmacy that sends the meds. They told me to take both and continue as usual in the mourning.

Yep, you need some sleep alright. Don't wait for weeks to get a handle on that.
I kept an extra dose or two of my sovaldi/riba in my purse or wallet in case I didn't make it home at a usual time. You could also try having a a piece of paper somewhere obvious where you check off a.m. and p.m. after taking each dose, along with the date and day of the week. When I had brain fog, I would also forget that little detail: "Did I? Didn't I?" It's just so easy to get distracted. Lastly, do you have an alarm or a reminder on your phone?
Actually, I bet you don't do that again.
I hope you took Jimmy's advice before you even read this. Don't panic. It will all work out.
Now get some sleep!

Man I'm in a fog today. I forgot my ribavarin and sovaldi at 7 am. I take my second dose of ribv at 7pm. Since I forgot this mourning do I need to take both now?
