Thanks, I thought sof/vel/viox was what you were referring too. I agree! Huge steps forward are being made in treatment
today, and in "rescue" treatment, with drugs like sof/vel/vox. Glad your ample harvoni worked superbly for you first time tho! C.

LOL I feel like the second pea in a pod with that comment. :)

Yes Canuck that is the triple therapy I was talking about(sov/vel/GS9857). It seems quite promising and I know for a fact it has cured people who have relapsed after Harvoni. This is what I was going to do if I failed the Harvoni, luckily for me I cleared.

CON - GRAT's Steve!! Glad you made it.
Liked your comment about how you would appear here (mostly) when you were freaked out! I too, am very glad the forum is here.
I agree, lots of knowledge, and nice people found here. And ... people posting their wonderful results too! Glad you posted yours.
A very nice day for you today with getting your results. Happy for you. C.
The new Gilead triple bomb you spoke of, did you mean sov/vel/vox?

Hey congratulations, especially on getting through a whole 24 weeks! 24 weeks was the shortest treatment duration a few years back for Genotype 3's and 2's. Now that seems like a very long time. Have a happy, healthy and Hep C free life, and boy, I' sure life tastes better without that label. :D

I only posted on here a few times usually when I was freaked out. I did read the forums to try and get a better understanding of my treatment and the disease.
I was on a 24 weeks treatment regimen with Harvoni, my genotype was 1A, and my Fibroscan score was 14 or 16 (have to check) done last September. I did not start treatment until November of 2015.
I did not clear the Virus in the first 4 weeks on treatment. My 4 week blood test showed 13. That actually freaked me out, but having read the forum I saw many others who cleared the virus even after being positive at the EOT.
I was due to get my HCV RNA test 4 weeks ago, but did not because I was about to go on a business trip and did not want to find out bad news before I left. I was convinced I had relapsed.
Results came in today and the pesky little devil is gone. I want to thank everyone who game me support and advice. I remember one person in particular I think his name is Tig something? Thank you and God Bless you!
I think this disease is going to be wiped out. The new triple therapy from Gilead that is in trials now is curing people who failed DAA's included NS5A's.
Great forum
