Thank you for the update and that is the best thing they can do.
I had both B and C and all during treatment I was monitored for B DNA to ensure it did not reactivate. They did not even test my C RNA until EOT.
I understand the reason why and it is important to be able to catch it if that happened and treat it with something like Viread as I believe they would
have done in my case. Luckily, it never reactivated and they will not test it again as my LFT's would indicate that something is going on.
Canuck was in a similar boat but I don't believe they actively chased after it in her TX.

Thanks for the guideline update, Jill. They tested me for HBV prior to treatment, but I have noticed some results here that didn't include it. Anyone that had the HBV vaccination will show positive for Anti-HBs. A good reference to the HBV antibody puzzle lies in the following article from the CDC.
