You can do it! Recovery takes time, but look at how far you've come already. You have much to look forward to and with your positive attitude, I have no doubt that you'll excel at all of it. I'm just sorry that we didn't get a tin of chocolates too, my sweet tooth is going crazy right now! Good luck....

Hey Tiger,
Just wonderful news for your EOT results!
Wow! You do things in BIG ways! First, your admirable hard work/prior efforts in regaining your health and life equilibrium. Then, tackling your high load of HCV, head on, very bravely I might add, all the while working, with a young family, and then responding just SO stupendously to a long and not easy 24 weeks of treatment that included our cruel helper riba.
You have done just an amazing job of it. You should be very proud of yourself, and the girls should be too (the big one AND the 3 little ones).
Never mind your big impressive UND's and lovely ALT's. Wow, just lookit those other numbers too! Just grand! It feels reassuring, doesn't it, to see the prior elevated ones come down to be within normal limits! Just what I hoped for, that the bili would just keep continuing it's downward trend, and that the GGT and AFP would just cooperate nicely, and normalize all on their own, in right short order, to be able to reward you early with their added reassurances!
So, did you end up having to actually request the AFP (I knew you had been fretting about it a bit) and they had indicated that they had not planned on doing another?
Just great labs - bili from 20, cleaved to 11 and now down to 9 already! GGT going from 238 to 29! Pfft! AFP 43, now boringly at 5, not even close to limit of 8!!
Did you already tell me if they planned when you might have your next ultrasound/fibroscan?
I'm really happy for you. Keep treating yourself good. You deserve to keep feeling better and better. C.

Yes, Tiger.
Those are very good numbers, reflecting very big changes. Keep up the good work of taking care of yourself, and keep slamming that water to clear the gunk out of your system. It can stick around for a while. Being active helped me a lot - something I couldn't do while I was on treatment. It feels great to be well again.
Please keep us posted.
Best wishes to you, Tiger
