I think in part my life style is very winter mode. It kind of resembles a snail pace and lots of layers. I get the distinct feeling I feel like a slug because I'm moving like one. Anyway, back to the fitness flog and healthy eating, summer is just around the corner. :P

Hi Lisa,
I'm so happy for you. We tend to hope that a cure will fix us right up and it's a bit daunting when just go on feeling tired and achy and miserable. However behind all that is the all pervasive knowledge that we're seeing this beautiful day courtesy of these drugs which miraculously dropped in our laps.
Take care,
Syd

Fantastic news, congratulations to you, Lisa!!
What a long journey you`ve been on to get to this point, and I`m sure you agree that it was worth it to be able to say those words... "I`m cured!!"
Very happy for you, and I hope you`ll stay around and drop in with updates... when you`re not busy wombling, of course!
And for anyone not acquainted with the Wombles, here`s a little song...
Thank you lovely, indeed, I'm getting used to saying "had!" kind of rolls of the tongue super fine. Oh my, where did you find that little gem? Nothing like a little womble music to get me excited. I have so many good memories pretending to be a womble, and that was just last week! ;)
Thanks Wim, I should change my avatar to a Hep C free womble, not that they had it! :P

Turns out, I am intimately familiar with the meaning, just not the word! hahahaha
Loopy you never fail to entertain me, I was just talkin bout ya the other day, describing how you diluted one of your doses with toilet water.
But now, you have really topped yourself in entertaining, educating and showing us how things really get done. You killed it girl! And nobody had to chase you round the table this time. So well done! I am so happy for you. Terrible, that they made you wait so long without ANY VL, and then made it a palava. Tortuous! But SO sweet your doc was excited and trembly right with you.
I am really hoping some of your irritable gut stuff might take a turn for the better now, without this virus. It will be interesting to see what improves, and how soon, over the next while for you. I am doing the same, wait and see with glad anticipation and starting to try to rebuild my strength again with some classes. (What vacation BTW!)
Oh you must be so pleased!!!! C. (talk to ya later, gotta go look up womble now)
Canuck, life is incomplete until you have watched one episode of the wombles, they live on Wimbledon Common. :P
Where would life be without one Chariots of Fire sprint around the ole Kitchen table, and considering a fishing expedition out of the loo? Oh the adventures I would have missed! :P
They have found I have a cyst on an ovary, I'm not that bothered about it tbh, it is not enough for me to scramble for a popping session unless it gives me too many problems. That is responsible for some discomfort, I'm sure it will self destruct eventually, that is what they think as well.
I'm glad you're in recovery mode, its hard though isn't it finding motivation at times. I quiet like being lazy right now, just I know come summer I'll be complaining as I try to cover the growing little muffin top. The joys of wobbly bits, its not even health that is my motivation lol.
Thank you everyone, it was so easy to pop a few pills it was like vitamins. Gotta love these new meds.... :D
Happy New Year too!!!!!

Congrats on your great news, Lisa!! That's wonderful! I know the feeling you get when the doubt creeps in, no fun at all. For me and I'm sure most others, successful treatment and SVR are so desired, we obsess on it. With that comes the nights when the insomnia gave me more time to think about it. The mind is pretty powerful. When the good news came in and I could reflect, I realized how difficult I was on myself some days. I'm glad that is behind you and you have an opportunity to live virus free. Recovery and/or improvement came slowly for me, for many. I believe you've got some excellent days ahead! Linux used to say "Carpe diem", I think that's appropriate. You've been wanting this for a long time!
Good job waking Jimmy up, by the way. I was wondering what happened. So glad you checked in and shared your news.

Hahaha I missed your happiness Canuck. Well, I actually was convinced I'd failed, so when my results went for a picnic to the wrong place I thought it was an omen. I even said to my Doc maybe we should do more panels as I think I'm gonna be on round two. She was more happy than me when the results came through. I thought someone had won the lottery at first with that excited happiness on my messages lol! :P
Downside, I don't really feel much different than before treatment, which means I'm an unfit womble as its not the Hep C. On the upside, I can go training again after excess everything over the holidays.
What is new with everyone.....? :D

Hello people,
I had a bit of a palava with bloods and results, first my results weren't in by my appointment, then they lost them in transit, took them again and had to get them by voicemail as I was away on my holiday. Anyway, a long story long, I'm cured......
I really thought I'd failed as I had some pains, but its probably a lot of trapped wind lol.#
Thank you both,
