What does fatty infiltration in the hepatic parenchyma adjacent to falciform ligament mean

It means you have evidence of a fatty liver. The hepatic parenchyma is a fancy name for the functional parts of your liver (the organ itself) and the falciform ligament is the big ligament that is located between the the left and right lobes of your liver. The scan, in simple terms, found evidence of fatty tissue adjacent to that ligament. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.

This information in subject line was posted in my chart after CT liver scan and ask what it means and will Harvoni treatment correct it?
