Hi Shemp,
I've been giving this some thought as well (the ativan).
All you said was that it was given to you in response to your complaint of "some stress", so i can't really guess how it was intended to be used/how it was suggested to be dosed out/ what strength the ativan is/ and for what exact purpose you should you use it??
I was given ativan once for "stress-induced" insomnia (which was a VERY rare phenomemom in me)! On what was a "normal HCV day" for me, fatigue was my problem, not insomnia, but given certain soul-shaking life events, my stress levels managed to manifest themselves into a sleepless state for a while. Not good, one thing working against another. Doc gave me the ativan and I hardly (rarely) used it during that period (I just did not want to) BUT I did take some as I just HAD to get some sleep! I was glad I had it.
I do not know how your stress is manifesting itself, if it is interfering with your sleep, but if you are just being at home right now anyway (not working right now) - then it would seem (feel) kind of a safe bet to trial the ativan at least once to see if it helped you sleep any better?
But maybe you are having no stress related insomnia at all - perhaps just stress during normal waking hours? - then same thing, in the safety of your own home you could trial the ativan and see if it helps you.
Regardless of whether you trial/experiment/test out/use the ativan, if the stress is hard, too hard and heavy then you do need some kind of relief and respite from it - heavy stress is always counter-productive - if ativan is not going to be able to be used or be helpful to you - then you are going to have to do something else to calm, sooth, comfort yourself - be very kind to yourself and creative to see what you can come up with to reduce the stress.
As Tig brought up, with the highways and weather being what they are, perhaps you can have more time off and will have more time off work? - would more time off work be of help with your stress or would it actually hinder? - some people find NOT working stressful! If you can afford not to work, and do not mind not working, then this might be the time to stay off work (a perfect storm of events) - time off to give full attention to yourself and how you feel during treatment, and time off just due to the weather circumstances.
You may be right, perhaps you will be less stressed all on your own right shortly - see how it goes, let us know what you think, and I hope we can be of some help. You certainly do not have to take the ativan if you do not want to, but depending on the severity of the stress that was conveyed to your doc, then maybe the doc would encourage you to try the ativan? C.

I agree with Lamassu, there are no interactions mentioned between the two drugs. I use the website Drugs.com for a quick reference for all things related. It’s a good one, as are the Physicians Desk Reference, your doctor and pharmacist.
Here‘s the Drugs.com Interaction Checker, you’ll find it useful. You can enter anything, prescription and/or OTC to determine interactions.

Hi Shemp,
There is no adverse reaction between Ativan and Mavyret listed in the prescribing information. Just don't take Ativan for too long as you could develop dependence. Short term use for a few weeks won't cause addiction. I took a different benzodiazapine (Valium) all through my treatment with Epclusa and cleared the virus. As always follow the advice of the doc who is treating you with Mavyret. Best wishes!
