I enjoyed the article, too. Like you, I haven’t taken the HAV vax, and only one of two HBV. By the time I remembered, it was too late for the second, so I blew it off. Probably not the best idea. When I was in high school, I was exposed to HAV, and was given a Gamma Globulin shot. I came close to passing out right after the injection. It was harsh! I do take the annual flu shot, and this year I took the RSV vax. I did take the two Covid shots, and still got it twice. The second bout of it damaged my already suffering lungs, and I developed some form of asthma. I’m convinced it’s COPD, because I’m forever short of breath. Now I’m required to use a steroid inhaler twice daily. That last round of Covid kicked my butt. I’m glad that has calmed down some.

Thanks Tig, that was very interesting.
It also remined me of the Gamma globulin shot all my family had to get when I first got ill. My brother wasn't happy to have to get a shot, but then I was reading the Gamma G shot was a high risk to actually give the recipients C...it was before screening when it was still known as non-A non-B. I'm still a bit paranoid of vaccines. Still haven't got the B-vax and I know I really should but also just so relieved to be away from C I wouldn't want to kick it back into gear or anything

Have you been vaccinated for Hep A (HAV)? This article helps explain the risks.
