Hi Mike, that is very good news. I am happy for you. I am sure it makes you feel a lot better knowing your bloods are normal. I think 6 mons is the basic time to have your vl tested.   Take care and enjoy your good news.  Hugs Dee

Type 1b with cirrhosis. Started treatment April 9, 2010 for 48 wks. Maintained negative PCR from week 11 during tx but now I am detectable again.

Well done Mike!  Glad it went well.  Shame you have to wait for the VL check but it all sounds excellent otherwise!  That must be a load off your mind.

Results from the physical exam were all good. Need to lose some weight to get glucose levels and BMI down a little more. Apparently, as I expected, the practitioner handling my Tx failed to order the bloodwork to check VL and they wouldn't do it today. I have to wait till my 6 month bloodwork in February.

All my labs were excellent. RBC, WBC, SGOT, SGPT all in normal ranges. All the news was excellent.

I mentioned sinus issues again and Doc is still setting up appt with specialist to look at the problem.

So other then having to wait another 3 1/2 months for VL everything is great.

Tomorrow I go in for annual physical and blood-draw. Part of the draw is focused at VL. Nervous tonight and finding it hard to concentrate. I don't know why I'm so shook-up, it'll be 2 weeks before I know the results. Though it's a couple weeks early, this is suppose to be my 3 month check to see if I'm still UND.

I imagine my Doc will be sending me for MRI to see if there's been any change in the tumor behind my eyes and for a scan for the one on my adrenal gland. They have me a little nervous. The pressure around my eyes and the slight headaches are back. I was attributing it to sinus infection because of the sores in my sinuses, but over the last week the sinuses have healed and the Sx's are still there. My eyesight is still being affected by something too.

As well I'll be visiting with my Psych. I think she'll be impressed with the changes in my personality over the last few months since getting off Tx. I know my wife and children see a big change. I know I've got a ways to go but I'm optimistic for the future.
