Thanks to all:). Yes, I guess my point was to share with others that there is indeed a life after treatment...hope is a powerful thing! For some the recovery takes longer. I feel lucky because my sides were really horrible during TX, I could barely function and I was aware that this could last for awhile...anyway that is all behind me now... Jill, I will be thinking of you for your next PCR, love J.

Hello to all, as some of you know I finished treatment at the end of June and left a week later for a very long vacation in Europe (6 weeks). I have never felt this good and can report that about 2 weeks after the last RIBA I was already feeling much better with a lot of energy. As a matter of fact i was able to walk, visit, eat, dance, sleep like never before. Today, at 7 weeks post, the only side effect that I have left is an ugly rash on my face...it is fading but still there. I skipped the 4 week PCR because I was away and had a 7 week PCR that came back undetectable. I know the battle is not over but my summer was beautiful and whatever happens it was all worth it. After a year break I am going back to work this week. To all of you waiting for results, you are in my thoughts, to the ones on treatment right now, hang in there... To all GOOD LUCK!!! Oh and Brendan, I was away but CONGRATS!! That's awesome... Hugs, J.
