Look at all your familiar faces! So glad to be here in post treatment with you. Of course as a new arrival I don't know if I get to stay or not, but for the next 6months it is good to see you. Less than a week post tx I ate something that made me feel like i had the flu. Worse than anything while on treatment (but shorter) . I thought it was ironic. Congrats Randy!

Ha, ha. I know your question was sincere Tanya, but you made me chuckle. Here's why.... Despite all I learned about good eating habits during tx and how I boasted that I was going to eat 'smart' the rest of my life after it was over (just - God get me through this, right?). When the effects of the treatment wore off I kinda went nuts. It was like FOOD! FOOOOOOD TASTES GREAT!

Anyway, so I gained a bunch of weight back real fast cause I was piggin' on litterally anything I saw (candy bars, beef jerky, potato chips, ICE CREAM with gobs and gobs of goodies on top, and well - then I went to the doc for my routine checkup. He asked about my chest pains. I told him, "I don't have any chest pains."
He said, you're gonna if you don't quit eating like that and get your cholesterol (sp?) lower.

So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I am once again trying to eat corectly and , ahemmmm, that e word (exercise). He don't want me to go on the cholesterol meds cuz of what it does to your liver. So I have til July to change my ways and improve my health.

What was the question again? Ha, just kiddin.

love ya all, thanks

Cool medal Jill, thanks. I will wear it with pride. Yes Iris, plans are in the making for a very relaxing summer. I'm gonna be like my buddy Brendan there just hanging out with my dog. Yes, it definately makes it worthwhile. This forum is the first forum I ever joined and it also was a worth while decision. Thanks to you all for the help in getting me through tx.
Take care,
Randy
