ive had a really itchy scalp, in fact a lot of my body is really itchy, i have some sores, hmmm. hands, forearms are a mess.

i have noticed (this is 2 weeks post interferon, 1 week post riba) that i havent had such RLS at night. i am gettin to sleep easier. woo hoo.

thanks for the heads up you guys. you been great for this lil kiwi. take care. im goin fishin this weekend with some girlfriends, in a housebus, woo hoo. should be fun. weather is dodgy but we true kiwis, prepare for the worst and no worries. we will have fun anyway, hitting the river and the beach. nice

Yep--my hair was coming out in handfuls for quite some time after tx. Of course mine was also coming out because of thyroid issues. It is much better now--almost soft again. Have had a couple of haircuts--made the hair feel almost like pre-tx. Soft and curly instead of wiry and dry.

My hair loss got worse for a while after I finished all meds. Within two weeks my scalp began to get "crusty". There were actually flaps forming. It was sick. I got a bottle of walgreen's house brand dandruff shampoo and washed every day, scratching with fingernails. This is never a good idea. But it got rid of the problem. The hair has still not begun to grow back. I hope it does soon. Cold winter is coming. Alan

That is such good news Judy. I am still losing alot of hair. I once had a head of thick curls now it is wispy and limp. I do know that it is continually growning back because under my thin limp locks I have plenty of fluffy undergrowth. Still, "I can't do a thing with it" weirdface.gif

I'm 9 weeks post now, and in the past few days, less hair has been falling out.  3 days post tx, my hair started falling out like crazy, much worse than while I was on tx.  I thought for certain I'd go completely bald.  I think I'm actually starting to grow a little hair back now.  I think.

52 y/o F, started Epclusa 11-10-19, F0/F1.  EOT 2-1-2020. UND. All liver function tests normal.
