Hi shorty, pain in the liver area that you describe doesn't sound like the liver discomfort seen in HCV. I would be getting an Ultrasound to check for gallstones or another cause of pain. Is your doc restarting you on Victrelis? That's unusual as rebound is usually due to PI resistant mutations. Please keep us posted.

Hi shorty, really sorry you had to come off tx so early, you did the triple with victrelis, didn`t you?  I`m quite surprised that your doctor wants you to start again that soon, what tx meds does he want you to do?  Sounds like you`re in a lot of pain there, and even though most doctors deny that you can feel pain in the liver it is something that quite a lot of people say they experience.   I guess what he might mean by "stretching" is that the inflammation is causing your liver to press on other organs and surrounding tissue and so cause pain in that area.

Not really sure how to advise you, maybe someone else would like to chip in.  Take care, Jill xx

I wasnt sure where to put this so I started new topic. I went 8 weeks into triple tx and got off because of severe side fx. I went from.12 mill to und. At 8 weeks, when I got 30 post labs I was all the way up to 17 mill v.l. Anyways the abdominal pain in liver area is intense and constant. Dr says its just stretching and start tx in jan 2013. Does anybody else feel this kind of pain? Last biopsy in april stage 2 scaring stage 3 inflation. What can I do? Thanx
