Thank's Malcolm, i think my doc also plans on 24, but i want one at 12. I will know more next week at my EOT appt.

58 yo..Relapsed in 99 and again in 2004. Started triple therapy with Victrelis July 22,2012.  genotype 1a. week 8,12,16,24 VL Undetectable..E.O.T -- 6-22-2013,,,EOT + 24., UND. 

SVR !!!

Thanks Malcolm,

I wasn't sure what that meant.  I think my Doc is probably doing one at 24 wks after tx from talking with him but probably will know more at EOT. Won't matter that much seeing how if I relapse not any treatments I probably qualify for until after that anyway.

Hope your enjoying your vacation. Only been to London once on a trip to Ireland. So much to see in London I could have spent weeks there.

Great to hear from you! I'm getting worn out by the grandkids and London weather, but feel great. You'll be Undet at 12 weeks- I feel it in these old bones! Cheers.

Geno 1b, IL28B CT,  x3 prior relapser,  ex-cirrhotic, 75 yo, did 48 weeks with Victrelis/Peg./Riba.  VL 1.28m at start, UNDET. at 8 ,12 ,16 ,24 ,30  and 48 weeks.  EOT 15 Feb 2013 , UNDET. at EOT + 28 weeks. SVR!  Still Undet. at EOT +5 years

Thank you for sharing this article on SVR.
I am getting anxious for my SVR12 on July 17th.
Looks like you have 98 or more percent of SVR24.
I feel better but getting headaches a lot.
You look great and healthy as can be!
Grandchildren are AWESOME!
I will continue onward a day at a time and put the
Anxiousness at bay.

I take it from that's saying is " 12wks and 24 wks during treatment"? Or after EOT?

If it is that's very similar to what my Hepa Doctor was telling me had been his experience when I saw him last week. I was getting a little antsy during this second 12 weeks of my tx and no tests until EOT.

Hi Dillo,

Thats after EOT. Frequency of VL tests during Rx varies from Doctor to Doctor, and often depends on what Insurance is willing to pay.

The 4, 12 and 24 week tests are done routinely, but some patients get an 8 week test.
