Hi Lucy, good to hear from you!  I`m glad you had a lovely post treatment vacation and your recovery is going so well, that`s great! 

Your platelets are probably still fluctuating as a result of the interferon treatment, and I expect they will normalise over the next few weeks.  I shouldn`t think it`s anything to worry about.  The rest of your blood levels are looking very good, and so is your ALT. 

Just carry on enjoying having your energy back, and be happy, you`ve certainly earned it!  smile 

Keep in touch and good luck with your 6 month result!

Hi everyone

I am sorry i couldn't post before. I took vacation to travel to national park in canada that is banff and jasper. I am really free from treatment and enjoy the Hep c free life.

I am now in 6th week post tx. Today, Iget my blood test result.

I  feel good. A lot of energy is back. I am feeling better and better everyday. 

The following is my 6th EOT blood test,

HGB: 132(120-160)    RBC: 3.9(3.8-5.2)    HCT: 0.4(0.36-0.46)       MCV:103(80-100) HIGH    

PLT: 102 (140--450) LOW       WBC: 3.9(4--11)  LOW   ALT35

note: PLT:90(end of treatment),   114(2th week of EOT),  102(6th week of EOT)

Anyone can tell me why my PLT is lowering, I am worrying about that.
