Hi Kellie,

Looks like your coming along fine. It took about 8 to 10 weeks for me to begin to feel a lot better. My HGB remained low for a while longer than my Doctor wanted but it and my energy began to pick up after 4. I'm at 15 weeks now and for the most part everything seems back to mostly ;) normal.

My exercise has slowed cause I'm back at the desk job but glad to be working again.

I'd say eat healthy but I know you do. I make sure I get a lot of Vitamin C & D to keep the immune system working.

Take it easy I believe I'll be seeing you at SVR!

Hey Kellie

Great to hear your getting your strength back, sometimes it's takes awhile to expunge the Ribavirin from the body systems, 6 months is the usual time but it comes back a little more every week. Hopefully all that mountain air and exercise will hasten the time frame.

Let your body find its pace of recovery and enjoy the change.

Hi all you well wishers! Thank you for the kind words. I'm just trying to start my new life asapsmile Yesterday was another hard day. My mind went dark again and I was thinking all kinds of bad things. Had my share of headaches too. Today seems ok for now.

They're fugues I guess. Passing quickly for the most part.

Have a swell day everyone!

Glad to hear your getting your sea legs back Kel! A 3 mile hike downhill would be quite the accomplishment, so going into the mountains sounds like up to me, lol! Well done girlfriend, well done! biggrin I'm curious what you're taking classes for? My goodness, all of those entrance exams at once is quite a feat, even on a good day! I'm very impressed with your motivation and ability considering what you just put yourself through. I'm proud of ya buddy!!xo

Good to hear from you Kellie, sounds like your recovery is going very well.  Climbing up hills and being able to sit exams is fantastic progress at only 5 weeks post treatment, well done!   It`s still early days though so don`t be too alarmed by the occasional set back like yesterday, you`re getting there and doing well.

Best of luck with your blood results, keep us posted!  smile

Finally Feeling better this week than the previous weeks after eot. The heavy depression and irritability are almost gone now.

My husband and I took a 3 mile uphill hike Sunday in our mountains. It was wonderful to get out again into nature. I feel like I can start to exercise a bit more vigorously now.

I had a re-occurrence yesterday of the vertigo. Had to stay in bed for much of the day.

Still have it this morning, though it's better now. At least I can walk around.

I just finished up taking 4 of 5 entrance exams and getting ready to do the 5th one (math) on Friday. I've been scoring in the 80/s and 90/s, so I know my brain function is returning.

My taste is mostly back to normal and I'm enjoying a tiny bit of sunshine daily. My skin doesn't feel like tissue. I'm still waiting for my hair to start growing back. No nubs or anything at this point.

I started mixing neo-sporin (?) with the tea tree oil cream for my Angular Cheilitis and it cleared in 4 days.

I'll do labs next week and then wait until the beginning of the new year for 12 week labs to see if treatment is successful.

Happy Day all!smile
