Thank you all, and thank you Jill for being here always. You were so welcoming and all of you were so supportive. And yes, a year ago I was so stressed going into the holidays. This year is so GREAT!

Genotype 3.  Treatment started on 1/11/2013 with Ribavirin and Pegatron.  Week 4 UND.  Week 12 UND.  Ended treatment on 6/28/2013.  Six months post treatment 12/04/2013 SVR.

Yea Deb! What great news! I think you're cured---it is so rewarding to come back and keep hearing all the success. Just heard a report on NPR this morning about new tx for Hep C and how successful all these new treatments are! This forum is also a lifesaver!

Hi Bob, I`m glad you asked that question!  The forum was started by Lau `LaurieBluesGuy` in 2007, along with Steff (`greenqueen`) and Heather (`Minerva`).  Here`s one of the earliest posts from that time when there were only 26 members.  A quick look at the current stats (at the bottom of the Home page) show we now have, as of today, 2,273 registered members, there`ve been 5,713 new topics started, and 60,238 comments posted.  Lau held the position of forum owner until he left in Feb 2011 and Steff took his place, and then she passed the ownership on to me in Jan of this year.  Onwards and upwards, folks!

I just completed my 6 months test and they called to say the results came back UND and I am now considered cured :)  (and I do realize that the word cured isn't usually used, but she said it, and I loved hearing, so I am going with that). 

They said they don't need to see me for another year at which time they will test again.  But I am SO excited!

And THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for whomever started this group, for all of you wonderful people who helped me through this so I didn't feel so alone.  For the Friday Night Dart Club that helped me count down each and every dart.

I know I am babbling....but I am so excited!!!!!!!!! 

It has been quite the year, but what a way to celebrate the Holidays this year!  Last year I was so stressed and nervous.  This year we CELEBRATE!!!!!!
