So nice to hear you have finished treatment!

It's been 2 months EOT and I still get mild headaches.

Give 'Arnica Montana' cream a try for your bruises. You can find the real stuff at a health food store.

Congrats on finishing your tx, Jerseygrl!  I agree with Tig that it`s most likely a lingering effect of the interferon on your platelet levels that`s causing you to bruise easily.  Give it more time and see how it goes.  The severe headaches must be very unpleasant and hopefully will also clear up soon.  If the symptoms continue to worry you then please do consult your doctor.

Best of luck with your post tx results, keep in touch!

I had odd unexplained bruising myself but later, about 3 or 4 months post treatment. (Can't remember exactly although I did write a post about it.) it did go away so I never saw my doctor about it.

Hi Jersey Girl,

Welcome back and congrats on finishing Tx! Big WOOT on that one!! The bruising is likely a result of a low platelet and Hb count. As you progress through the post treatment period, those values will improve and the bruising should lessen accordingly. As for the headaches, I too get them post Tx but they aren't as frequent as they were. That should improve too. Keep in touch and let us know how things go. Best of luck to you!
