58 yo..Relapsed in 99 and again in 2004. Started triple therapy with Victrelis July 22,2012.  genotype 1a. week 8,12,16,24 VL Undetectable..E.O.T -- 6-22-2013,,,EOT + 24., UND. 

SVR !!!

My husband had genotype 1a, 46yo, started triple therapy (peg/rib/vic) 23rd July 2012, VL prior to treatment 14 million, UNDET 12, 24 weeks, EOT 24th June 2013, EOT +1.5 weeks UNDET, EOT +12 weeks & EOT +27 weeks UNDET; SVR January 2014

Bill,Congratulations Buddy!!! I'm so happy for you! You've been a huge inspiration for me while on tx. Thank you! It sure was a rough go for you, but you were right that there would be a light at the end of the tunnel. Well, its a bright light of a healthier, hep c free, happier and a brighter life! Your strength,perserverance,and positive outlook during tx are definitely worth being proud of yourself and grateful! Your tears of gratitude are well deserved!!! You did it!!! biggrin Still smiling for you!

There you go!  Congratulations on success at the end of a long journey.  You need to give yourself a pat on the back and know you are an inspiration to those of us who are starting the journey or are somewhere still on the road.  It is one week until my 3 month check post-tx and you give me hope.

What excellent news, Bill, congratulations on your SVR!!!  Your perseverance in battling through such a difficult treatment at the same time as your personal life was falling apart is to be applauded, you are an inspiration to us all!  You deserve everything good that comes your way in your new healthy life, and I wish you all the very best!  Go out and knock `em dead with your dark hair and newly slimmed down figure!  wink

 geno 1, started peg and riba 7/5/13, now 29th day is vicrellis ***tonib VL started 6 million, after 5 weeks 374,000, after 8 weeks 150,000....the big test for VL is 9/27 at 12 weeks  TAKEN OFF THERAPY JUST NOT WORKING FOR ME...12 WEEKS STILL HAVE 9000 VL

Got my results and clear God Bless with all I went through and still weak physically but pretreatment and treatment effects going, one benefit for an old guy is my hair was white and is now much darker, slimmer so marketable item on the bachelor scale, Thanks again for all the support and encouragement, will let the tears of gratitude come because I deserve it
