Great news big smile on my face for you!
I have seen you on Hep C forum a long
Time. Be patient with yourself on recovering
From 144 weeks.l
You gave me the idea to count the weeks
Combining 2 treatments = 84
My doctor pushed me to stay on treatment
3 months longer after only a partial responder
On the interferon we had to inject 3 times a
weeks that made everyone crazy! I was well read and knew
it was recommended to stop after 6 months
if viral load count was not  zero!
I reluctantly gave in and suffered another
3 months. I looked like a Skeleton! A crazy thinking skeleton.

A year or so later peg-interferon (the once a week)

Came on the market. I knew it wouldn't work
Since it was same medicine just different
Technique to administered. I told my doctor no
I wouldn't try it and I would return when there was
a new option. It was a 9-10 year wait!
Invicek 48 weeks worked. I have 'mild' chirosis.
Now you too are free of Hep C. Welcome to the SVR
CLUB! True warrior. It pays to keep on trying.

Jack,

You fought the good fight and came out on top.  Way to go.  I know you have been a fellow traveler in this journey and yours has been long and rougher than most.  You have prevailed and now is the time for further healing from the fight itself.  You have shown such perseverance, I know you will get back to where you deserve to be and have a brighter future HCV-free.

I'll hoist a glass of cool, clear water to you my friend!

Bill
